At 72 years old, Lynda Carter reminds everyone that chicness happens at any age, and she’s not stopping her showstopping style era anytime soon.
On April 27, Carter made a super rare red carpet appearance at the 2024 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, which took place at the Washington Hilton. The event, hosted by Colin Jost, brought celebs and journalists together for the annual event celebrating the free press.
As we said, Carter arrived in style, and was truly one of the best dressed of the night with her old Hollywood glamour-inspired ensemble.
See the photos below:
We weren’t exaggerating; she looked oh-so stunning! In the photos, Carter donned a dark navy, purple color-shifting dress with an embellished, detailed design down the front for the rare appearance.
Along with the stunning, halter-necklined gown, she paired the look with a black fur shrug and statement amethyst jewelry for that old Hollywood glamour touch. She put her hair up, donned her iconic red lipstick, and truly enchanted everyone there!
Now, along with Carter often opting for sensational, sparkling looks like this old Hollywood-inspired one, many notice that Carter’s appearance hasn’t changed drastically over the years.
In a rare interview with People, Carter told People that she’s afraid to have plastic surgery.
“I don’t know that I’ve changed too dramatically,” she said, saying that while she doesn’t want any, she’ll never judge anyone who opts for it. “And the reason I’ve never had any facial surgery is just because I’m afraid.”
