This Member of Dakota Johnson’s Family Is Reportedly About Ready to Join RHOBH

Dakota Johnson isn’t joining the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) show, but one of her family members may be ready to join the cast.

No, not her grandmother Tippi Hedren, apparently, Johnson’s mother, Melanie Griffith, is about to join the cast, after literal years of speculation.

Per InTouch Weekly, Griffith is allegedly about to close a deal with the franchise, and is potentially about the join in on the cast soon, thanks to her close pal Kyle Richards continually trying to persuade her to join.

“Melanie’s been thinking about it for a while, and the money’s too good to turn down,” the insider said. “Bosses have been trying to lure her for years, but she was too nervous. However, in recent months, she’s gotten to know Kyle well, and Kyle’s been so nice, and that’s helped change her mind.”

And insiders also added that the show has already spruced up her life. “She might meet a guy in the process and add excitement to her life, which has been predictable of late,” they added. “Everyone else seems to be having all the fun. This would help her to get out more.”

Per Parade, the next season won’t start until late 2024 or early 2025. It’s unclear who’s already signed on, but Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke haven’t announced departures, unlike a couple of their other co-stars.

So we may be hearing more casting news soon, and we’re seriously hoping Griffith will be a part of the new lineup.
