Bachelorette‘s Rachel Lindsay & Bryan Abasolo Are Hinting That Their Divorce Isn’t Going So Well

A divorce in Bachelor Nation always makes waves, but Bachelorette stars Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo’s split might not be as amicable as they originally portrayed. New court documents filed by the chiropractor seem to indicate that there is a major financial fight ahead

Abasolo is asking for emergency spousal support, according to the legal papers obtained by Us Weekly. The 44-year-old reality star believes that his estranged wife is using their shared funds to pay her legal fees, but he also has a $75,000 lawyer tab to pay. “I am informed and believe that Rachel has been using our community property monies to pay for her divorce lawyer and forensic accountant while refusing to give me access to any of our community property funds to pay my divorce lawyer, my forensic accountant, or any of my personal expenses,” he claimed in the documents.

Now, he alleged that he’s unable to maintain the “standard of living” he was accustomed to during his marriage to Lindsay. The couple initially lived together in Florida where Abasolo had his chiropractic practice until she joined Extra as a correspondent in 2019 in LA. They shuttled back and forth from both coasts in their long-distance marriage until he moved his practice to the West Coast in 2021. “I placed my career as a chiropractor on hold to move twice for Rachel’s career,” he noted. “These moves were detrimental to my chiropractic business, while Rachel’s income and success as a media personality skyrocketed.”

Abasolo became accustomed to “an upper-class marital standard of living” that included business-class airline tickets and the “finest hotels.” He also enjoyed fancy dining at Catch and Nobu, but now reportedly makes only $1,300 per month even though his rent is $6,500. His other monthly expenses include 1,000 in restaurant meals, $1,500 for groceries, and $2,500 in entertainment. “I want to move out of our Family Residence as soon as possible, but maintaining our standard of living is not financially feasible at this time,” he alleged. They are currently living together, but the situation sounds tense because they reportedly aren’t speaking, and Lindsay has set up security cameras to monitor his “comings and goings.”

The chiropractor’s assets currently include a $1,000 wedding band and a 2023 Porsche Macan that is worth around $68,500. The former couple is also fighting over their North Hollywood home which Lindsay believes is her “sole and separate property” while he believes it is a part of their community property from their marriage. While Lindsay has not responded to her ex’s claims, it doesn’t look like this union is going to end on a happy note.
