While Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s divorce is old news, it’s no secret that the former couple have been going after each other in divorce proceedings ever since. From allegations surrounding their behavior with their kids to the ownership disputes of their Chateau Miraval in France, the pair have been undergoing a strenuous legal battle for years on end.
But, according to some insiders, there’s still hope Pitt and Jolie could be calling a truce soon. Why, you may ask? It turns out Pitt’s girlfriend Ines de Ramon might have something to do with it.
“Ines is very zen and doesn’t like conflict or negativity,” the source told Us Weekly. And, given her calm, conflict-averse demeanor, insiders think Ramon could be the missing piece for Pitt to “patch things up with Angelina.”
“Ines [wants] Brad to find peace, forgive and move on,” the source added. “From her perspective, it doesn’t make sense for him to hold on to all the animosity.”
Knowing how convoluted the proceedings have become over the years, we’re sure ending their legal battle would be healthy for everyone, including, of course, Pitt, Jolie, Ramon and the former couple’s six kids.
So while we wait for some good news on the conflict-resolution front, insiders also revealed that Pitt and Ramon’s relationship has only gotten stronger recently.
“Being with her has brought new meaning to his life,” the insider said of the couple, who have been together since November 2022. “Brad can’t rave enough about how madly in love he is. They complement each other.”
If you ask us, Pitt’s blossoming connection with Ramon should give him all the more reason to make peace with his ex-wife. After all, it might be challenging to go all-in in a new relationship while still juggling with a rocky past relationship.
