The Olsen family is definitely one of the most private families in Hollywood, and for good reason, considering Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen were publicized nonstop in their formative years. As adults, the twins keep their lives very away from the public eye, giving ultra-rare updates maybe once a year. But now, eagle-eyed fans saw Mary-Kate out with a former flame, and fans are quite concerned.
In case you missed it, on Memorial Day weekend, fans snapped photos of Mary-Kate hanging out with her former flame Sean Avery, per pics from DeuxMoi via DailyMail.
While in the Hamptons, Mary-Kate was seen with Avery, along with their mutual friend Andy Cohen. Mary-Kate and Avery were specifically seen entering the new The Row store in Amagansett.
For those who don’t know, Avery and Mary-Kate were briefly linked in 2007, when she was around 20/21 and he was around 26/27; and have been friends throughout the years.
Now, when news of this possible rekindling hit the news, many fans grew instantly worried. When Deuxmoi posted the photos, many commented under it, saying how Mary-Kate should avoid this relationship. Fans commented things like “Sean Avery?! GIRL RUN,” and “Oh laaaaawwwd Sean Avery is a piece of work…”
Avery has been in quite a few controversies and legal issues over the years.
For instance, his ex-wife Hilary Rhonda filed a temporary restraining order against him amid allegations that he abused their son Nash, and her, per ET. Along with that, he made disparaging remarks about his ex-girlfriend Elisha Cuthbert, referring to her as his “sloppy seconds,” and has continually been called out for bullying.
