As many know, Catherine, Princess of Wales, better known as Kate Middleton, has been battling cancer privately from the public eye. Many of her friends and family have offered to care for her as she goes through preventative chemotherapy; and apparently, her husband, Prince William’s biggest priority amid it all is to ensure she’s okay.
A close source told OK Magazine that William is fully supporting Kate during this time, even amid the royal crisis that’s been happening for months.
“Princess Kate is still focusing on her recovery but she has been spotted running errands with her family,” they said. “Her priority remains on her young children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. She is being fully supported by Prince William, who has been devoted to her recuperation.”
Now, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about William helping out Kate throughout this time. While she did mention in her viral cancer announcement video that she and William have been going through this day by day for their young family, but insiders also said in Feb 2024 that he’s been super caring to Kate; even to the point that Kate had to shoo him away!
“William is constantly propping up cushions and offering her back rubs — so much so that Kate has had to scold him to leave her in peace,” the insider told Life and Style via Yahoo earlier this year. “It’s been a very challenging time. There have been some positives, though. Kate’s seen a side of her husband she’d never seen before. She’s impressed with his take-charge attitude during this ordeal and has rated his caretaker skills as a 10 out of 10.”
For those who don’t know, William and Kate married in 2011 after their on-and-off-again relationship that happened from 2003 to 2010. And the family of five has been navigating everything as Kate is being treated for cancer.
