With couples in Hollywood, it’s either a couple that’s always in the public eye, or a couple we rarely ever see (but geek out when we finally do see them together). And as you can imagine, loving couple Christian Bale and Sibi Blažić fall into the latter.
In case you missed it, on June 21, Bale and Blažić were spotted at LAX. While it’s rare to see the pair out and about together, it’s also incredibly rare to see them pack on the PDA. In the photos obtained by DailyMail, we see them cozying up to one another on the escalator, after he came from NYC. We also see Bale smooching the top of Blažić’s head in such a sweet way! (And if you’re wondering why Bale looks virtually unrecognizable, it’s because he shaved his head for his upcoming film The Bride.)
While the dramatic transformation may be jarring, we can’t help but swoon over how in love the pair are after over 20 years together.
For those who don’t know, Bale and Blažić met in 1994 through Winona Ryder. Blažić was a model and Ryder’s personal assistant in the 1990s, and when Bale and Ryder worked together on the set of Little Women, she set them up! They were friends for years before starting to date in 1999. Within less than a year of dating, they married in early 2000.
Bale and Blažić then welcomed two children: a daughter named Emmeline, born in March 2005, and a son named Joseph Bale, born in 2014.
While the family of four is super private, Bale always gushes about his wife, whenever he can.
During a dual interview with Us Weekly, he said,“[My wife] likes to be very private. And of course, I want to maintain that … but we have a great private life. She’s probably the most strong woman I’ve ever come across in my life.”
