Lopez was in Italy with friends — a typical summer holiday for her with fashion, friends, food, and fun. It’s been the perfect getaway from the 54-year-old superstar after a roller-coaster ride of events over the spring. “Jen loves vacationing in Europe during the summer. It’s been nice for her to experience a change of pace and have some breathing room,” an insider told Entertainment Tonight. The time away has been allowing her to have “a blast with her friends” and enjoy ” fun dinners, have late nights, lay out in the sun, get dressed up, dance, and shop.”
It’s giving Lopez the opportunity to forget her troubles for a hot minute, especially when she knows this type of vacation isn’t Affleck’s jam anyway. “That’s never really been Ben’s scene, even when him and Jen weren’t having any issues,” the source noted. “Jen isn’t letting the fact that Ben’s not there bring her down.” After a luxurious weekend in Positano, Italy, the “Jenny From the Block” singer turned up in Paris, France on Monday, June 24 for the Christian Dior haute couture show during Paris Fashion Week.
She looked glowing in a tan dress by the designer with an asymmetrical neckline and a belt cinching her shapely waist. She accessorized the outfit with black leather gloves and gold heels. She also wore her hair in a vintage updo with her makeup showing off dramatic cheekbones and a smoky eye — she looked so chic! Lopez even took the time to speak with Vogue ahead of the show. “I never know what to expect, which is why I love coming to fashion shows,” Lopez gushed. “I’m such a huge fan of Dior so I’m very excited to see what Maria did today,” she praised Dior’s creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri.
Affleck had a less relaxing weekend after arguing with the paparazzi, who were camped out at the Beverly Hills estate he shares with Lopez. TMZ caught the 51-year-old actor looking stressed out by the white flashes from the cameras as he attempted to drive. Perhaps Affleck needs to take a page from Lopez’s playbook and go on a nice, relaxing vacation away from the hot spotlight of Hollywood.
