Amid his alleged breakup with Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck went through a drastic transformation. Not only did he shave his head to a new look, but he seemed to be wearing tighter, more rocker-chic clothes. Earlier this month, his new look came to light, and an insider claimed that Lopez is seemingly not a fan.
According to an insider who spoke with Closer Weekly, via Mirror, Lopez is allegedly not a fan at all of his new look, and reportedly thinks it shows he may be having a midlife crisis.
A source said: “She’s saying this clearly shows that Ben is not in the right headspace and hasn’t been for some time – why else would he toss aside a wonderful marriage and put all the cruel moves like ignoring their anniversary, her birthday, the commitment and responsibilities they shared together, including their beautiful blended family.”
While we don’t know why they’ve decided to reportedly split, but we just hope everyone has the support they need. (And ouch! It seems Lopez really isn’t a fan of his new look, after all.)
For those who don’t know, Lopez and Affleck met on the set of the film Gigli. They started dating soon after and got engaged by the end of 2002, per People. In 2003, they postponed their wedding and then broke up days before, due to the paparazzi and pressure they faced, and were broken up by 2004.
Then, in 2021, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance. A year later, they got engaged and married in a lavish ceremony, but as of July 2024, breakup rumors have plagued them.
