Gisele Bündchen Took a Major Relationship Step With Joaquim Valente & It’s as Low-Key as It Gets

To celebrate the end of the summer, Gisele Bündchen, like so many of us, posted a gallery on Instagram with some of her season highlights. And, amidst pictures of food and sunsets, she reached a relationship milestone and went Instagram official with her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente.

“Best of summer! ☀️” Bündchen wrote in the caption.

In the eighth picture in the gallery, the jiu-jitsu instructor, who has been dating the supermodel since June 2023, is seen paddle-boarding with her and ex Tom Brady‘s 14-year-old son, Benjamin Brady. While Valente is paddling a little further ahead of Benjamin in a black swimming trunk, Benjamin is following closely behind in white shorts. Some good ol’ family bonding, if you ask us!

Among the other pictures in the gallery is Bündchen enjoying the picturesque sandy dunes of Lençóis Maranheses in Brazil, a mouth-watering picture of some chocolate-covered strawberries, a sweet picture of her hugging her 11-year-old daughter Vivian and a mirror pic of her in a leopard-print skimpy bikini. All in all, it seems Bündchen’s had quite a summer filled with family, love, and delicious food.

According to a recent source for People, Bündchen is indeed at a great moment in her life. “She is secure and happy, and so busy with her life that she doesn’t have time to dwell on the negatives out there,” the source said.

As a reminder, prior to her relationship with Valente, Bündchen split from her ex-husband Tom Brady in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage.

“Sometimes you grow together; sometimes you grow apart,” she once told Vanity Fair of their split. “When I was 26 years old and he was 29 years old, we met, we wanted a family, we wanted things together. As time goes by, we realize that we just wanted different things, and now we have a choice to make.”

“That doesn’t mean you don’t love the person,” she explained. “It just means that in order for you to be authentic and truly live the life that you want to live, you have to have somebody who can meet you in the middle, right? It’s a dance. It’s a balance.”

“When you love someone, you don’t put them in a jail and say, ‘You have to live this life,'” she said. “You set them free to be who they are, and if you want to fly in the same direction, then that’s amazing.” Looks like Bündchen found her freedom!
