So Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas‘ daughter Carys is officially making her acting debut, following in her parents’ footsteps.
In case you missed it, Caryss shared on her Instagram that she is a part of the short “F*CK THAT GUY,” alongside beloved actress Victoria Pedretti.
She shared the news on her Instagram with the caption reading, “Some moments from a project I am so proud to be a part of!! :)) F*CK THAT GUY is heading to L.A for @prooffilmfestival by @am_cinematheque to screen Oct. 18-20 !! Honoured to have worked with @hannaorganschi @then0t0ri0usvip Micheal Nesson and Dagmara Dominczyk 🫶🏼🫶🏼. Generously supported by @officialspikelee @inclusionists @womenmovingmillions.”
She then tagged everyone who made this project possible, which is just so awesome to see.

Per IMDb, the film follows two best friends in 1992 Connecticut, with the description reading, “Desperate to keep the attention of her intoxicating older best friend, Frankie sets out to prove that sex is no big deal.”
Now, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard of Carys’ acting chops. Back in 2023, Zeta-Jones shared how her daughter played Wendla in Spring Awakening at college.”
And now, along with F*CK THAT GUY, Carys is also set to star in another short film called Shell, which is about a girl with writer’s block going to extreme measures to beat it and find out what’s going on in her mind.
For those who don’t know, Zeta-Jones and Douglas met back at the Deauville American Film Festival in France in August 1998, after being introduced to one another by Danny DeVito.
They married two years later, in Nov 2000, and later welcomed two children named Dylan, born on Aug 8, 2000, and Carys, born on Apr 20, 2003. (Douglas also has a son from a previous marriage, Cameron Morrell, 44.)
