Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds is officially off the market and married to his longtime girlfriend, Nicole Pantenburg.
Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds is officially off the market. Over the weekend, the famed R&B multi-talent married his longtime girlfriend, Nicole Pantenburg, just months after announcing their engagement in February.
On Saturday, May 17, Edmonds and Pantenburg tied the knot in a ceremony in front of a star-studded crowd, including Oprah Winfrey and singer, Carole B. Sager, People magazine confirms. Sager took to Instagram to share video of the nuptials for her Instagram followers, but the video has since been deleted. According to Essence, Pantenburg used to be a backup dancer for the R&B extraordinaire before the duo started dating in 2007.

Even though this marks the third marriage for Edmonds, he’s been hard at work on his relationship with Pantenburg, with seven years under their belt. They are also parents to 5-year-old daughter, Peyton Nicole. Back in February, Edmonds confirmed his engagement to Pantenburg in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, gushing, “I’m happy to say I’m on the love marriage path. I’m a very lucky guy!”
But if you’re a devoted fan of Edmonds, then you probably caught wind of his of engagement when the singer/producer went on the promotional circuit for his collaborative album, Love, Marriage & Divorce, with longtime friend, Toni Braxton.

During a chat with BET, Braxton asked, “So I guess the important question that everybody wants to know from you, would you ever consider getting married again?” Edmonds didn’t hold back and nonchalantly, replied, “I’ve already considered it. I’m engaged, so yes.”
Babyface went on to talk about his view on love issues and why some pairings simply don’t work. “The main thing is being honest with yourself and being honest with your feelings. When we’re not honest with ourselves, we just accept situations, don’t talk about them and, as you said, ignore the elephant in the room,” he explained. “You better recognize there is an elephant in the room and deal with it, because a lot of times the elephant in the room is the one that you put in there, so you have to deal with it.”
