Divorce paperwork was filed today in Suffolk County, New York. The couple has an eight-year-old daughter, Sailor. Brinkley and Cook were married in 1996 after her break-up with land developer Richard Tauban. Tauban and Brinkley’s child, Jack, 11, was adopted by Cook when they married in ’96 and there was no word of Jack’s fate within the divorce proceedings to come. Brinkley has been in good spirits, says friends, and her jovial demeanor was appreciated by the New York press who camped outside her home this past summer.
