The last time Cyndi Lauper showed the world her “True Colors” tour, it was an incredible success. This summer she does it again and by the sound of the headliner, the reunited B-52s, the girl wants to have fun.
The headliners will be comedienne Rosie O’Donnell and the B-52s. Carson Kressley from “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” will host the trek, not steering too far from “True Colors” mission of promoting gay rights.
The tour begins May 31 in Boston and closes out its run July 5 in Morrison, Colorado. The 54-year-old singer is also excited to bring along surprise guests that will pop up randomly along the tour. The short list for those surprise acts includes Joan Jett, comedienne Wanda Sykes, the Indigo Girls and Regina Spektor.
