First, he gets married, and now he has a new baby, Ethan Hawke certainly moves fast. Ok, so maybe he’s already been a dad two times before with his ex, the fabulous Uma Thurman, but Hawke is a daddy one more time.
“They are thrilled,” Hawke’s rep, Mara Buxbaum, said of the pregnancy when it was first announced. “I expect that they should be very good parents,” a close family member told People. “They both love children, and they love each other … I know they are thrilled.”
His new wife, Ryan Shawhughes, are the proud parents of Clementine Jane Hawke. Clementine is the third child for Ethan. The 37-year-old is dad to two children: Maya, 10, and Levon, 6, whom he shares with ex Uma Thurman.
Hawke and his former nanny Shawhughes wed quietly in June just five months after announcing their pregnancy — the couple were seen last month applying for a marriage license at the Municipal Building on Centre Street in New York. The couple reportedly did not start dating until after Hawke’s split from Thurman was finalized in 2005.
