Rainn Wilson as a hair metal superstar wanna-be with Christina Applegate along for the ride is really all the tease needed for fans of the comic actor.
Wilson told SheKnows at the MTV Movie Awards that “The Rocker” was an “absolute blast to make. We had the best time, I’ll tell you…the DVD is a must have. I don’t know how they edited this film with all the laughs. The gag reel will be priceless.”
Given the DVD won’t be out for some time, treasuring Rainn’s priceless comic timing during the summer heat is certainly one comedy worth exploring.
His characters in film over the years (yes, he has been a movie star long before Dwight took over his world) have run the gamut from soft, nasty to insane. Seeing all three in his “Rocker” will be one cinematic treat.
A Bunny for your thoughts, Harrison gets serious and Hamlet gets a sequel…all next!
