Lindsay Lohan has had it with her father. On the actress’ blog, Linds let the world know her true feelings about Michael Lohan.
Lohan, never one to mince words, wrote on her Myspace page that she feels her father has become “a public embarrassment and a bully — to my family, my co-workers, my friends and a girl that means the world to me (it’s obvious who that is).” (The post’s legitimacy was confirmed by the Lohan’s publicist.)
The starlet’s blog entry continues:
If you have something to say to me, say it to my face, that’s what I have believed my whole life, don’t be a coward and say it to others first, let alone all the media in the world.
Lindsay Lohan continues to write that she had hoped, “of having a father again” and “wanting things to change” in spite of what Michael has very publicly done to their family.
Lindsay’s father, Michael, began this latest melee with because he feels girlfriend Samantha Ronson doesn’t have the best of intentions in mind for his daughter. (Samantha Who? Find out more about Samantha Ronson and her talented family here.)
“I’ve shut up about this long enough. She’s using my daughter. People never even knew who Samantha Ronson was until she met Lindsay. She was just some L.A. DJ. And now she’s writing a book? I am at wit’s end with this stuff. This is not in Lindsay’s best interest,” Michael says. “Let’s just say I hope Lindsay starts opening her eyes and realizes who the people using her are.”
On her own blog, Ronson weighed in, writing that she has “no need to publicly defend my role in Lindsay’s life,” and that she’s “just sorry that she likes me more than him.”
