Janet Jackson cancels more concerts

Sorry Janet Jackson fans, the singer has postponed two more concerts due to her illness.

Monday the singer failed to perform in Montreal giving the same reasons. That announcement was followed by the cancellation of Jackson concerts in Boston and Philadelphia.

During Monday’s sound check in Canada, Jackson was overcome with illness and rushed to the hospital. After two hours of check-ups, she was released.

Jackson is part of a fantastic old school double bill with her opening act none other than L.L. Cool J. The trek is set to resume Saturday in North Carolina.

Janet checked into the Royal Victoria Hospital after being rushed via ambulance from the Bell Centre arena. The hospital’s spokesperson, Rebecca Burns, released a statement.

“All I can tell you is she was at the Royal Vic (Monday) evening,” Rebecca Burns says. “After two hours, she was discharged.”

That Montreal concert was canceled five minutes before L.L. Cool J was to hit the stage.

Definitely don’t call it a comeback! Jackson was dropped from her label earlier this year when her latest effort, Discipline, fell on deaf ears.
