This year, there’s been a huge push to get more Americans, particularly younger ones, to vote in the upcoming elections. One particular TV show that is doing more than its share of the work is Saturday Night Live. Intentional or not, their political satires have more and more people checking the airwaves for the real versions of the candidates.
But are SNL’s parodies more popular than the politicos themselves?
Tivo did a survey and here’s what they found out.
1) What do you enjoy watching more on TV, a debate with Tina Fey playing Sarah Palin or the actual Sarah Palin?

More female respondents enjoy watching Tina Fey as Sarah Palin than male respondents.
Younger respondents (age 34 and under) enjoy watching Tina Fey as Sarah Pa1in significantly more than older respondents
2) Who has/had the best political impression on TV?

Dana Carvey as George Bush, 26 percent
Will Ferrell as George Bush, 20 percent
Chevy Chase as Gerald Ford, 17 percent
Phil Hartman as Bill Clinton, 15 percent
