Hill is gracing the December cover of Shape magazine and tells the publication that her fantastic shape is due to picking up Pilates early this year.
“I could bend in ways I haven’t been able to since I was a teenager,” Hills says in the article. “My husband (Tim McGraw) loves it.”
But that is what is so inspiring about Hill’s motivation. The Pilates journey has been for her health and well-being and if McGraw appreciates her figure, all the better.
Adding pluses to her Pilates routine include areas of her life she never expected to improve.
I found I slept better, had more energy and was stronger,” Hill says.
The singer reports that the regimen was difficult, but that seeing herself on the cover of Shape was the ultimate gift – regardless of what anyone says.
“It was so hard, but ultimately so worth it,” Hill continues. “In fact, wearing a bikini on a magazine cover is my 41st birthday present to myself.”
