Anne Hathaway, fresh from having her ex-fiance carted off in handcuffs for financial misconduct, may have rebounded beyond the usual rebound guy and found ‘the one.’
The actress is in fact, engaged to a motion picture studio – Warner Brothers!
One of SheKnows fave studios (Nights in Rodanthe, Body of Lies) has signed the Rachel Getting Married star to a multi-picture deal.
Details are still emerging, but she is contracted to appear in TheFiance, 17 Again (with Zach Efron) and Igby Goes Down.
Hathaway is currently earning raves from critics, Oscar buzz from Hollywood and audience cheers for her portrayal of a wounded soul in Rachel Getting Married.
In our interview with Hathaway she describes the Jonathan Demme directed film creation process as priceless.
“It’s experiences like this that made me want to be an actor,” she says.
In Hathaway, Warner Brothers is getting an actress set to take the same adorned career path as her former Devil Wears Prada co-star, Meryl Streep.
Hathaway says in our interview that the making of Rachel Getting Married provided her an invaluable life and career education.
“One of the lessons that the movie teaches, particularly for people in recovery, is how important it is to stay in the present,” Hathaway says. “(It) is very liberating for an actor.”
