Britney Spears latest CD, Circus debuts today and the entertainment world is aflutter with Spears fever. In honor of her album’s debut, Spears has given SheKnows her list of favorite videos of all time. Yes…she’s on there…twice!
On the strength of her first single, Womanizer, excitement has built beyond the normal Britney news watch for the release of Circus. Working with a stellar crop of producers and songwriters, Spears is set for a true comeback with material she can stand on as well as a personal life that is improving.
Spears is the picture of happiness lately and after listening to Circus, her bliss is on every song. As a singer, it is hard to find a set of songs that Britney is having more fun delivering to her audience.
With her father Jamie still controlling her purse strings, Spears is set to add millions to that coffer as rumors are flying she will also embark on a tour to support Circus. Even if her album hits number one and stays there for weeks, Britney will hardly come close to the money potential she gets for touring the globe at $75 a ticket times millions of seats.
Spears has given SheKnows this interesting list of her favorite videos of all time. The singer has had her share of triumphant musical eye candy in her day. What’s interesting to note about Britney’s favorite videos of all-time is how her number one, Thriller, is just a notch above her Toxic. It is a pretty awesome video!
Much of the list is also from the ’80s and ’90s. What does that say about Spears’ musical taste? Who knows? Although there are hints of those eras in her music, Britney’s sound is purely her own.
Thanks Britney for your list! And here’s a few to listen to in honor of Spears birthday and the release of her Circus.
