Madonna’s Carlos Leon, her original baby daddy, has spoken out on the Madonna divorce — and Carlos seems to side with Guy Ritchie!
Lourdes’ dad recently gave Hello! magazine his thoughts on the family and Madonna. It started out innocently enough:
“It is a bad situation for both Guy and Madonna and I send them a lot of love and all the children involved. I think it is too early to say if the divorce will make things better or worse for the family.”
But then he goes on to diss Madonna’s film chops in favor of Ritchie! “(Guy Ritchie) is the gent,” Leon says. “He always treats me with respect. Of the film work of the two, I like Ritchie better. He is incredibly talented as a director and producer and he inspires me.”
Way to bite the hand that feeds you. We don’t know how much of a payout Leon gets from Madonna for siring her spawn, but we bet it’s a pretty penny.
Then Leon goes on the spill the beans about his dear daughter.
“I speak to her every day,” Leon says. “She is very talented, she gets that from her mum. She has had advantages I never had. But it is up to her to take it to a new level in singing or acting.”
Does that mean little Lola wants to follow in Mom’s footsteps?
One thing’s for sure: Carlos will soon be getting an angry phone call from Mama Madge.
