Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have a special gift for the fans this holiday season: a first look at their baby!
Ashlee Simpson baby Bronx Mowgli Wentz made his world debut on an electronic greeting card sent to Fall Out Boy fansite FriendsorEnemies.com:
The text reads:
“We decided to share the best gift we could ever receive with you: Bronx Mowgli Wentz. We couldn’t be happier. And in the spirit of the holidays, we’d like to encourage you to give on your own. Below is a list of worthwhile charities that need your support…”
The couple goes on to list Theirc.org, RoomToGrow.org, and the Richie Madden Foundation — helmed by good friends Nicole Richie and Benji Madden.
Why not hide the baby until they get their tabloid payday for selling his pics? We hear no one wanted them! Ashlee covers don’t sell, and the payday the couple was asking for just didn’t make sense for how little a return any tabloid would have received.
So what does a Simpson Wentz Christmas entail, anyway? Lots of snow, despite their SoCal location. Pete surprised his new family with a snow machine so the family could go sledding! He wrote in his blog (all errors in context):
“merry xmas (happy holidays, whatever). you can take the boy out of the midwest but you cant take the midwest out of the boy. this is the first christmas i am not spending in the cold at home (for obvious reasons). but i couldnt stand the idea of not being around a white xmas. so like for cribs i got a snow machine and the whole fam went sledding. either way i hope you are surrounded with people you love now and always.”
