Alyssa Milano engaged, files restraining order

Sure, celebrities’ personal lives are exposed in magazines and celeb shows although they know that’s typically part of the territory. As for what’s crossing the line? Stalkers and unwelcome visitors, of course.

Alyssa Milano from Who’s the Boss fame has two pieces of news. First, the actress who adores sports became engaged to an agent. No, not a sports agent, a Hollywood agent. Second, Milano filed for a restraining order against Jeff Turner, her alleged stalker.

Most recently we’ve seen Milano in Charmed and nine episodes of My Name is Earl. The die-hard L.A. Dodgers fan who writes a blog for Major League Baseball filed court papers in December.

Apparently the fifty-something California resident is an obsessed and mentally unstable stalker-fan. Most recently he broke into her home and obsessively had attempted to contact the starlet. It’s no surprise the papers were filed; the most recent break-in occurred only two days earlier.

Not only did Milano seek protection for herself, but for her family as well. The psychopath stalker has somehow convinced himself that he’s close personal friends with the Milano’s. A hearing will be held in mid-January.

As for Milano’s wedding plans, they are quiet for now, but we can tell you several things about Milano’s Mr. Right. David Bugliari and Milano have been dating for over a year. No date is set, but we’ll keep you posted!

Considering Bugliari works for CAA, the most powerful agency in Hollywood, looks like Milano’s career will take off once again.

Babies make three for Martin

Who’s better than Ricky Martin? Martin says that he’s going this on his own because he doesn’t want to miss a moment of Valentino or Matteo. Sure, Martin has a personal assistant who helps take care of him while he takes care of them, but he is on diaper duty.

Is Oprah for hire?

Not likely. Remember watching the eyes of Oprah glisten with pride as Barack Obama gave his acceptance speech on Election Day? Us, too. Well, when it comes to his administration Oprah says she never considered working for Obama’s administration.

Though we must say, that would a real treat! Oprah told AP Television, “I have a few full-time jobs already and a few full-time commitments, you know — contractual commitments that say I have to be where I am.”

In actuality, she says it never even occurred to her. And even if Obama called her to solicit her expertise?

Oprah still wouldn’t go to work in DC for Obama. The first African-American woman billionaire in American history adds, “Even if I was offered, I still have contractual commitments and what could I do?” Winfrey says. “I do what I do best on TV every day.”

Oprah will host her talk show in DC during Obama’s inauguration week in conjunction with the festivities, one day before the ceremony Oprah will have a live show from the Kennedy Center Oprah House.
