Lily Allen chose the wrong boyfriend and it’s going to cost him millions!

Lily Allen was snapped smooching millionaire art mogul Jay Jopling over New Years on a boat in the Caribbean. Lily said, “I think I like much older men. I hang out with much older people, I go for dinners at posh places and talk about art. I’m meeting more interesting people who tax my brain.”

Jopling was already in the midst of an at the time amicable divorce from wife Sam Taylor-Wood, a superstar photographer. The pair were long considered the golden couple of the art world, and insisted that their divorce would be handled with the utmost grace and friendliness, even vowing to remain living under the same roof — an $18 million townhouse in central London — with their two children until their divorce was finalized.

That is, until Taylor-Wood saw the pictures of Jopling and Allen.

Here’s the thing: Taylor-Wood and Jopling had promised not to date other people until after the divorce, in order to spare their kids Angelica and Jesse as much pain and confusion as possible. And now the scorned wife is going to teach Jopling a little lesson.

A friend says:”Sam has said that the situation at the moment is very, very hard. She and Jay want to do everything they can to protect their girls, but the truth is that the situation is getting very sticky and unpleasant.

“Sam could not believe it when Jay started dating Lily Allen. She thought it was below the belt as they had agreed neither of them would start dating until the dust had settled. Sam was livid because it really upset Angelica.

“She is at an age where she reads the papers and it was awful for her to have to go to school the next day.

“Sam also felt very publicly humiliated. She had suspected that Jay was seeing people but she thought he would honor their agreement. Now she is having all sorts of doubts about how he behaved during their marriage.

“She doesn’t have a bad bone in her body. But she is very angry and very upset. She is going to go for half the money and the house. As far as she is concerned she is entitled to it.”

The couple’s worth? Nearly $200 million.
