Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross shares some personal bad news on an otherwise joyous Inauguration Day.
Word arises from the Desperate Housewives set that Cross’ husband, Tom Mahoney, has been diagnosed with cancer and thus far, is doing well.
Cross and Mahoney recently welcomed twin girls, Eden and Savannah, who are now 23 months old.
Desperate Housewives recently filmed their 100th episode and all we can say thus far is that creator Marc Cherry is bending time once again – – this time going back. The show will feature how the ladies became the women they are currently.
It is not yet determined whether the cancer news from Cross and her husband will affect filming of the ABC hit show. Desperate Housewives is clearly enjoying a resurgence in its fifth season.
What type of cancer or its severity was not released as a simple statement was issued by Cross’ publicist Heidi Slan. Basically, they are not providing further details other than to confirm the story.
“He is currently under treatment and is responding well,” Slan says in a short statement.
Cross and Mahoney married in 2006.
