Angelina Jolie backward style

Angelina Jolie, Oscar-winner and Oscar-nominee for the upcoming awards, has made headlines with her gown at the SAG awards.

Would a day go by where Angelina Jolie doesn’t make the news? Seriously though. What is the story behind her stunning Max Azria gown at the recent SAG awards?

Jolie decided to spruce things up a bit.

According to her stylist, Angelina Jolie decided to um, how do we put this?

Think Kris-Kross……you’re getting closer…wear it backwards!

We think it totally worked. Could Angelina be starting a trend?

Well, we’re not exactly sure.

But we do know when it comes to beauty, poise and confidence, it always boils down to this: it’s not so much what you wear but how you wear it. Work it, girl!

We can hardly wait to see what Angelina Jolie and her beau Brad Pitt will be wearing to the Academy Awards!

She is nominated for Changeling as Pitt is nominated for the Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

The winners this year will be quite a surprise as Kate Winslet snagged the best actress awards at the Golden Globes and Meryl Streep won the award in the same category at the SAG.

This tells us perhaps it’s anyone’s guess who will win the best actress category. As for the men?

Mickey Rourke won at the Globes and Sean Penn won at SAG so it really could be anyone’s trophy on Oscar night, February 22.

But the thought on everyone’s mind is Heath Ledger and what will almost surely be a posthomous Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

When his name is announced, watch for the swell of the emotion in the room to reach a fever pitch. Hollywood loves to appreciate an actor’s work, espeically if he has left us too soon.

Other categories of note is the Supporting Actress category where a divide seems to be occuring between Penelope Cruz and Marisa Tomei. The Vicky Christina Barcelona and The Wrestler actresses respectively, are pulling even in the odds.
