The Bachelor finale will have the nation enthralled. The Bachelor has enjoyed a ratings resurgence with its casting of the single dad Jason Mesnick. After his choice, go After the Final Rose.
Running in Heels rules! Yes, it’s another reality series about interns working at a famed fashion magazine but this one does it right – at least so far, I’ve only seen one episode. The show is on Style, the magazine is Marie Claire and already one intern has sabotaged another by keeping her from going to a top runway show. Honestly, I don’t know how anyone survives the stress of these jobs and those “runs” to design houses to pick up clothes in 90 degree heat in the city — man, you have to love your job.
Friday’s Numb3rs was another nail-biter with Liz going undercover on some drug buys. Every buy looked like it was going to blow up, so I kept moving closer and closer to the TV and everyone worked out fine — until the end, of course. Great way to build the tension and wonderful way to relieve it at the end — with Don and Charlie having a pillow fight like in the old days. I miss that with them.
I gave Dollhouse another shot on Friday and I’m still not getting this show. My husband loves it, but I suspect that has more to do with the ways they keep finding to make Eliza Dushku strip. Me, I find the plot to be laughable. Why would you hire a security guard who doesn’t know it’s their job to protect? Then they send a back-up agent who ends up becoming a hostage herself. Yes, it all works out in the end leaving the writers of the show to say, they planned it that way. Yeah, right. The “I meant to do that” defense only works in PeeWee Herman movies.
