Crimes of the Heart
Based on a enormously successful play, Diane Keaton, Jessica Lange and Sissy Spacek rivet in the film version. Crimes of the Heart was nominated for three Oscars and besides serving as a great forum for three actresses at the top of their game, Crimes of the Heart is one terrific sister film.
How’s this for a plot? Three sisters get together when one of them shoots her husband. Orchestrated chaos between siblings has never been so uniquely Southern. “I didn’t like his stinkin’ looks,” one of our sisters says of why she shot her hubby.

Pride and Prejudice also features a fantastic Brenda Blethyn and Donald Sutherland (sporting effective English accent!). Standout performances aside, Pride and Prejudice gets to the heart of Austen’s prose as few films of her work have achieved.

Sunshine Cleaning
Amy Adams continues her hot streak that recently added a second Academy Award nomination. Adams portrays part of the sister duo of that run Sunshine Cleaning.
Emily Blunt is delightful as the other half of the Lorkowski sisters and when this film arrives in theaters nationwide March 27, a classic cinematic sisterhood will entrance, entertain and enthrall.
