17 Again
Zac Efron is a star waiting for a starring vehicle. 17 Again will give Efron his first shot at stardom beyond High School Musical’s halls. The story is awfully familiar to Big, 13 going on 30 and a slew of other movies, but early buzz is that Efron has the star power to make this film work.Matthew Perry plays the adult Efron who is looking back at 20 years of life he wish would have been tackled differently.
Crank High Voltage
Jason Straham is back with Amy Smart. Honestly, how is this film possible? The first ended with Straham falling out of an airplane! Only in Hollywood can this happen and generate the level of excitement that Straham’s speed-demon has created.
State of Play
State of Play’s cast alone will make audiences sit up and take notice.
Russell Crowe, Ben Affleck, Rachel McAdams, Robin Wright Penn, Jason Bateman, Viola Davis and Helen Mirren in a gripping story about an investigative journalist team trying to solve the murder of a congressman’s (Affleck) mistress.
Must-see comes to mind immediately, doesn’t it? Based on the BBC miniseries of the same name. In many circles State of Play is the season’s most anticipated film.
