Pink is incredible live. The singer has announced tour dates that bring her back to the US after a hugely successful tour of the entire world.
Pink first arrives in Seattle and closes her US leg of the tour in New York City at the world’s most famous arena: Madison Square Garden. The 11-city tour is relatively short for a big-time music star, but the truth is her album has been out for quite a while now. But still: she’s got incredible pipes and to witness her live in concert is pure bliss.
To think of her humble beginnings and see her now is the definition of the American success story. Pink was dismissed by some as a simple face in a faceless decade of pop — the ’90s. Her first album contained songs not of her choice and fight hard to have a second record that fit her personality.
Born Alecia Moore on September 8, 1979, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Pink received her nickname as a child. Can you guess why…because she dyed her hair that color. Surprise!
Pink was no stranger to music as she grew up in a musical family.. By the age of 14 she was a regular on the Philadelphia hip-hop scene. Landing in She caught the eyes and ears of LA Reid and the rest is history!
