Perez Hilton is claiming that the Black Eyed Peas’ entourage assaulted him in Toronto.
Perez Hilton’s assault case is grabbing headlines and even landed on prime-time CNN.
Like him or not, Hilton has successfully branded himself in a new niche and creating a successful and popular website, he is the quintessential entrepreneur. He’s also hated by many celebrities for his vicious blog posts and Monday’s punch was a testament to that.
Perez and Lady GaGa went to an after-party in Toronto after the MuchMusic Awards in Toronto (similar to MTV). He’s been criticizing Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas a lot which apparently led to her approaching him at the first party at a club. Then at the Cobra nightclub Wil.I.Am approached him as well. Hilton called him a term that has the gay community upset.
You can imagine what happened next: Polo Molina, the band tour manager punched Perez outside the club. Perez tweeted “I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.”

Like we said, like him or not Perez Hilton has successfully built his brand and like him or not, violence is never the answer. Will.I.Am took to the blog airwaves and took exception to the fact that he or anyone in his band was involved in the assault. Violence would go against everything the BEPs stand for.
