Britain’s Got Talent’s Susan Boyle looked make-over mod when she met her British idol, Elaine Paige on the Today show.
Elaine could perhaps be compared to an American version of Barbra Streisand: extremely talented and well-liked by fans.

interviewed Susan for her first ever television interview after she skyrocketed as an overnight sensation, she wasn’t aware that Elaine was going to surprise her during her very own
interview!
Elaine told Susan Boyle that it was thrilling to hear her and “even better to come and meet you at last in the flesh.” Susan
mentioned she was “gobsmacked” to meet her very own idol as the interview continued.
And that’s not all. Donny Osmond was on screen as well and since he is one of her other musical idols, the interview must’ve been a real treat! Donny recorded a video from Vegas in
which he congratulated her on her success and predicted that they’ll do a recording together.
He quipped, “We’ll re-record Puppy Love.” And then, he broke into song: “And they call it Susan love.” He joked that Susan should see his show in Las Vegas with his
sister Marie and then said in jest that he’ll dump Marie to perform with Susan Boyle instead.
Boyle also mentioned the fame hit her like a demolition ball. She told Meredith, “And anyone who has that kind of impact finds it really hard to get a head around it. I’ve got to be
honest here. I guess I had to get my head around it, but through the guidance of a great team – and they are very good – I was able to see that in perspective and really turn that around a little.”
