LeAnn Rimes has split from husband Dean Sheremet after months of allegations of infidelity.
A source close to the couple told Us Weekly that
LeAnn and Dean are “leading separate lives…but still in each other’s lives as best friends. They are not divorcing yet, but working though things and taking time apart…while they figure things
out.”
LeAnn hinted at the split during her performance at the Seer Valley Music Festival in Utah Saturday night.
She showed up sans wedding ring and told the crowd, “It is inevitable that sometimes in a relationship, you will have your heart broken. Sometimes you don’t do anything, but sometimes you want
revenge. Sometimes you don’t, and that’s when you just leave it in God’s hands and know that He will take care of it.”
Dean’s only public words on the situation have come through Twitter, where he posted, “Thanks to everyone for all the support through a very difficult time!”
Setting aside years of rumors that Dean plays for the other team, he and LeAnn lived in wedded bliss — or at least their own kind of understanding — for seven years, until she met actor Eddie
Cibrian on the set of a Lifetime movie.
Videos and pictures of the couple on dates, holding hands and kissing surfaced soon thereafter. Cibrian denied the affair, but the public didn’t buy it — and neither did his wife, who kicked him to the curb last week.
