Angie Everhart exclusive pregnancy interview

Angie Everhart is due to give birth any day. The 39-year-old model-actress is talking exclusively to SheKnows. Everhart chats about her pregnancy, what she swore by throughout her pregnancy that keeps her confident in continued Hollywood success, and also how she is not afraid of the challenge that lay ahead that is called single parenthood.

Everhart everlasts

SheKnows: Because of who you are and your celebrity, you could have gotten behind any pregnancy skin products, why Palmers that you put your name on it, literally moments before
giving birth? Something you put your face on…well, a little more than that, I suppose?

Angie Everhart: (Laughs) Ah, yes! Because I use it –when I first became pregnant I went into the pharmacy and saw the packaging and it a simple minded as it was, I just
saw a pregnant woman on the packaging and it said ‘helps stretch marks.’ That’s one of the main things that, obviously, I wanted to avoid being always in front of the camera and
bathing suits and stuff like that. I didn’t want any stretch marks (laughs). I really love the product, so when they came to me, I said, I actually use this! It’s an
endorsement I’m giving in a very genuine fashion.

SheKnows: That’s the most organic and true way you can do it…

Angie Everhart: I’ve done every hair color ad in the world, but I’ve never put color in my hair once (laughs). It’s nice to do an ad that I’m
actually using the product. I use it in the morning in at night. It makes me dream better.

SheKnows: (Laughing)…and yes, you are dreaming as a new mother. What are you dreaming and what are your emotions right now as you prepare to give birth in days?

Ever positive

Angie Everhart: Well…it’s all really positive, actually. I haven’t had any weird dreams or anything like that. I can’t even picture what my stomach’s
going to look like yet.

SheKnows: Have your friends and family joined in the excitement and helped getting you ready for this new journey?

Angie Everhart: I actually am going to be giving birth in seven days. They have had quite some time to get on board. I have a very, very nice support system. My mom’s been
here a bunch of times. I’ve been given a baby shower and I was given a baby sprinkle and my mom has come in both times. I couldn’t ask for better parents and more supportive friends and
family.

SheKnows: For some of our readers who are new first-time moms, especially single moms, now that you’re at the end of the actual pregnancy, is there kind of words of wisdom or
advice to these people who might identify with something you found helpful?

Angie Everhart: Stay positive.

SheKnows: Stay positive…

Angie Everhart: Yeah, once my head even clicked in a negative direction, I would try to think of something else. I would get up and do something, take a walk, whatever it was, I
needed to, don’t answer the phone…anything that would put me in a negative spirit, I had to stay away from it. You just need to get into a positive place. I think it really impacts
your day. You can have a bad day or you can have a great day. Over the entire pregnancy, my baby feels what I feel.

Enjoying your pregnancy

SheKnows: No question. Seven days away, a lot of pregnant woman are excited to have it over with…have you
enjoyed your pregnancy?

Angie Everhart: I have. I have been blessed to be able to be able to concentrate on it. I’m lucky to not have a nine-to-five job. I don’t have, but on the bookings
photo shoot yesterday, I was saying that even though I’m super-pregnant now, and I’m not feeling as obviously sexy as I normally do. It was a distraction. It was great and talk about
something that I believe in. It was great to keep busy.

SheKnows: I’m sorry, but I’m looking at these photos from Palmer, and Angie, you look sexy, smart and confident. You look like you’re having a blast.

Angie Everhart: I like you.

SheKnows: Well thank you (laughs).

Angie Everhart: (Laughs)

SheKnows: Is there something in your life that you have missed during your pregnancy?

Angie Everhart: I love taking baths. Because of the pregnancy, I’ve had to be really careful about taking baths. You can’t take really hot baths. I’m really
looking forward to taking a really long bath – really hot bath – and using Palmer’s skin therapy oil

SheKnows: Sounds glorious!

Angie Everhart: Doesn’t that sound fabulous? That’s the thing I’ve missed most about being pregnant, that and sushi – because of the mercury. It’s
dangerous.
