The weekend’s best TV bets include crime solvers Monk and Psych as well as a few Bridezillas.
Project Runway recap
Let’s face facts, I’m no style maven. So usually, when I watch Project
Runway, I see only one or two outfits per episode that look good to me. Not so with last nights episode, which featured maternity wear!
Maybe it’s the caliber of designers this year because I liked most of the outfits that came down the runway. Malvin got called out for his design that looked like a baby sling over a black leotard.
He was going with the whole chicken and the egg concept and I didn’t think it was that bad. The judges, including Rebecca Romijn thought it
was bizarre enough to send him home.
A surprising move since Mitchell was in the bottom three again, this time for sloppy workmanship, though I could totally see where he was going with the casual outfit.
Have you been staying tuned to Models of the Runway? The show
just isn’t as interesting as I thought it would be. It’s mostly just the models grumbling about how much they want to win and which designers they like. I feel like I’m watching a commentary track
on the previous episode. I’ll stick with it since it’s only a half hour but I was hoping for more.
