The CW comes back with a special two-hour America’s Next Top Model while Fox debuts a new season of So You Think You Can Dance, then goes vocal with Glee!
But before we move on to that, did you hear Barbara Padilla sing on America’s Got Talent last night?
She performed an incredible, angelic version of Ave Maria and it earned her a standing ovation and not a dry eye in my house. She certainly should make the top five tonight, but even if
she doesn’t win it all, there’s no doubt we’ll be hearing more from her in the future.

Now, let’s look at the shows that are premiering tonight:
America’s Next Top Model (8:00 – 10:00 The CW)
Short girls rule in this new America’s Next Top Model season that is for girls 5-foot 7-inches
and shorter.
Many will try but only 14 will make it into the model house high in the Hollywood hills. For their first America’s Next Top Model challenge, they’ll have to put an updated spin on an
old baby picture and they’ll have to impress supermodel Chanel Iman who is this week’s guest judge.
So You Think You Can Dance (8:00 Fox)
So You Think You Can Dance used to be a summer show, but this time Fox is extending the party with a new fall season So You
Think You Can Dance. This sixth edition begins tonight with auditions in Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Phoenix and Salt Lake City.
Then, on October 7, the best of the So You Think You Can Dance brave will head to Las Vegas and the final callback round will air on October 21 where the judges will pick the top ten guys
and girls who will then compete for the big prize.
Glee (9:00 Fox)
In this first new episode after the pilot, the Glee Club performs in front of the school and you know that’s not going to be easy.
Things get really complicated on tonight’s Glee when Rachel expresses her feelings for Finn, and Mr. Schuester’s wife reveals some surprising news. It’s Showmance, tonight on
Glee!

Leverage has Parker pretending to be a long lost heir. (9:00 TNT)
Dark Blue sends Jaime undercover as her former self. (10:00 TNT)

NBC gave Jerry Bruckheimer the go ahead on an action pilot about a team that tracks fugitives.
Two of the Harlem Globetrotters have signed on to the Amazing Race.
Law & Order’s Angie Harmon will guest on Chuck.
Jennifer Hudson will be joining Sheryl Crow, Cyndi Lauper, Kelly Clarkson and more as part of VH1’s Divas concert on September 17.
