Entertainment News of the Week: December 4, 2009

These were the hottest news stories for the week ending December 4, 2009.

Most stylish celebrity of the week

Gwyneth Paltrow shines in this sparkly metallic brocade swing coat from alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet at the Last Emperor Valentino event in New York City. Objections? If it’s cold enough
for a heavy coat, it’s too cold for bare legs. Tights, even sheer ones, would complete this look.

Tiger is a cheatah

Tiger Woods came thisclose to getting the stuffing beat out of him when his wife Elin found out he’s been stepping out on her for pretty
much their entire relationship. Tiger’s mysterious minor car crash was preceded by an argument over his women, and so far three of his conquests have been outed. We here there’s dozens more, including strippers, cocktail waitresses and even hookers. Classy. Tiger released a statement
admitting to vague indiscretions but denying what everyone knows: Elin busted the windows out of his Escalade in retaliation, not as
rescue.

Grammy nominations announced

The 52nd Annual Grammy Award nominees were announced this week, and it’s all about the ladies. Beyonce leads the pack with ten nominations,
closely followed by teen country crossover sensation Taylor Swift with eight. Lady Gaga is up for the dream trifecta: Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year, as well as Best
Dance Recording.

Heidi Klum is (almost) human

Heidi Klum may be a supermodel, but she doesn’t feel like a supermom. The genetically blessed German beauty walked the runway at the
Victoria’s Secret fashion show last week after giving birth barely over a month ago, but says having four kids is a huge challenge. You
think? Heidi and her husband Seal have schedules that put most singletons to shame, let alone keeping up a healthy marriage and family. Cheers to Heidi for admitting it’s hard instead of makign it
sounds like sunshine and roses all the time.
