The golfer who introduced Tiger Woods to his wife says the gorgeous Swede won’t be sticking around much longer.
Jesper Parnevik, who introduced the couple back in 2001, told
Ok! Magazine that Elin’s on her way out the door. The beautiful blond “won’t stay for Tiger Woods or the money ($80 million) after
what he’s done,” he said. “Swedish women are strong and don’t tolerate much. They can’t be bought.”
Elin, a former model, was working as a nanny for Parnevik’s family when she met Tiger at the British Open, and now Parnevik feels terrible — and partly responsible — for her pain and public
humiliation at the hands of her philandering husband.
“I really feel sorry for Elin, since me and my wife were at fault for hooking her up with him. We probably thought he was a better guy than he is. I… need to apologize to
her.”
Parnevik told Ok!, “I don’t see her being able to continue to love someone who violated her trust so thoroughly… No woman
should have to tolerate the pain she’s tolerating now.”
“There is no way [Elin] knew about these woman and just turned a blind eye.”
“She will find a way to pull through this for herself and her children,” he said. “She has that maternal instinct in her that makes her a great mother. We’ve
seen her many times with her children. They adore her.”
In the few appearances Elin has made in public since December 2, her million-dollar wedding ring has been noticeably absent.
