We admit, prior to seeing Sex and the City: The Movie, we wondered where the characters’ arcs would take them? Would Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) end up with Big? How would those outlandish fashion statements translate from the small to the big screen? Well, wonder no
more as the sequel rocked it, raked in the cash, and as we dished with the cast and wondered about a sequel, we had a feeling it would be in their cards.
Well, as the trailer opens with Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ unofficial anthem of New York, Empire State of Mind, we’re hoping the film does not disappoint. After all, you
may recall hearing Fergie’s Glamorous in the original film’s trailer which led to rounds of applause in the theater!
As we know, Miley Cyrus was cast in the sequel. What we also learn is the ladies find themselves in the desert. But, you know what?
There is a part of us that does not want to watch the trailer and instead, be simply surprised and mesmerized by the genius known as Michael Patrick King — the Sex and the City
sensation’s writer-producer-director — when the film arrives in theaters May 28.
