Kate Gosselin celebrates the new year with a new look!
The mom of eight stopped by Britney Spears’ favorite
discount horse hair shop and picked herself up a raggedy weave. Not content to allow her ex-husband Jon to steal the warm spotlight of public
ridicule, Kate showed off her busted tresses on the cover of People this week.
“It’s good to have hair again” the 34-year-old mom of Jon and Kate Plus Eight told People. “I never thought I’d have short hair for as long as I did. I feel like this is a fresh
start, a fresh me, a fresh life… I’ve got it. I am now Kate Clean Slate.”
Don’t get us wrong — Kate is an attractive woman and long hair does suit her. Perhaps more accurately, anything other that the gnawed-up beaver dam she was wearing on her head before suits her.
But Kate, darling’, when you’re buying hair you’ve got to spring for the good stuff. You want Jessica Simpson-esque extension, not
Britney-hay-bale extensions.
Kate doesn’t seem to know the difference, and she’s pretty psyched for the upcoming year regardless.
“I’m rebuilding,” she said. “There’s no option for this not to be a good year. Now I get to start over with a new self and new goals.”
Let’s hope hiring Ken Paves is on that list of goals.
