Snowboard Queens
Snowboarding is a relatively new sport in the Winter Olympics. It debuted in the 1998 games after its growing popularity made it impossible for the International Olympic Committee to ignore the sport. Heading into the snowboarding events in Vancouver, a group of tough yet loveable snowboard queens has emerged: Lindsey Jacobellis, Hannah Teter, Kelly Clark and Gretchen Bleiler.
Lindsey excels in snowboard cross, Hannah is the reigning halfpipe gold medalist, Kelly won the halfpipe gold medal back in 2002, while Gretchen is a beauty who also specializes in the halfpipe. The American public is sure to fall in love with these queens on ice.
