Thanks to his break up with The Tonight Show, Conan O’Brien is barred from appearing on TV until September 1, so naturally, O’Brien’s coming to you! O’Brien announced his The Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour and we’ve got your dates!
“Hey Internet: I’m headed to your town on a half-assed comedy & music tour. Go to http://TeamCoco.com for tix,” O’Brien Tweeted today. “I repeat: It’s half-assed.”
With 30 dates in the US and Canada announced for this spring, the initial response was so intense that the TeamCoco website was flooded with traffic. O’Brien had to direct fans to go to Ticketmaster and has already added dates.
Prices range from $34 to as much as $79, although in pricey Vegas tickets start at $75. There are also special, much pricier tickets available, including “meet and greet” and “hot seat” opportunities that cost several hundred dollar.
CoCo will kick things off April 12 in Oregon and then cover the northwest, with shows in Vancouver (April 13 and 14) Washington (April 16, 18 and 19), Alberta (April 17) and San Francisco (April 22 and 23).
On April 24 and 25, O’Brien will return to Los Angeles and get the last laugh at NBC by putting on what’s sure to be a sold out show at Gibson Amphitheater, which is just around the corner from the brand new Tonight Show stages from which he was unceremoniously booted.
After that, O’Brien will loop down to San Diego (April 29), Phoenix (April 30) and Las Vegas (May 1) and then back up to Reno (May 4), San Jose (May 5) and Sacramento (May 6). Then it’s on to Boulder (May 9), Denver (May 10), Dallas (May 13), Austin (May 14), Minneapolis (May 18), Chicago (May 19 and 20), Toronto (May 22) and Atlantic City (May 30).
He won’t miss the East Coast! After shows in New York (June 1 and 2), Boston (June 4 and 5), Connecticut (June 6), Pennsylvania (June 7) and Washington, D.C. (June 8), O’Brien will have some fun at the Bonnaroo Music Festival (June 11) and then wrap things up on June 14 in Atlanta.
Dates are listed below, as well, but be sure to check the official site for additions. The former Tonight Show host has already tacked on extra shows in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, and LA and more may be coming!
