Word is circulating that that hip hop royalty is expecting a new little prince or princess, but it hasn’t been confirmed by Beyonce Knowles’ or Jay Z‘s camps.
The website MediaTakeOut.com broke the story this morning, claiming that a “rock solid source” told them Beyonce and Jay Z are expecting their first child.
According to the story, the (alleged) mommy-to-be is taking it easy right now, but is doing well and is expected to work through the pregnancy. The daddy-to-be is said to be over the moon.
It bares mention that MediaTakeOut was just as confident in 2007 when they incorrectly announced Beyonce and Jay Z had tied the knot in Paris with tattoo rings. The pair, who first hooked up in 2002, didn’t actually make their union official until April, 2008.
This also isn’t the first baby rumor to circulate. In fact, those rumors pop up regularly, especially around the time they tied the knot. Many speculated the surprise wedding was of the shot gun variety, but no baby materialized that time.
That said, there’s been much tittering since the New Year from bloggers who’ve heard the same Beyonce baby rumors from their own sources. Perhaps this time it is the truth.
Unless the hip hop mogul and bootylicious bombshell speak out, however, we’ll just have to keep an eye out for the baby bump. With a figure like hers, it certainly won’t be hard to spot!
