Mel B: It’s a Scary World preview

She’s one part scary, one part diva, but all parts real. Mel B takes audiences inside her day-to-day life in the Style Network‘s new series, Mel B: It’s a Scary World.

Mel B, real name Melanie Brown, made up the scary part of the iconic girl group, the Spice Girls. But that’s not all this multitalented diva has contributed. She’s a musician, author, television host and mom.

Mel B is teaming up with the Style Network to give fans a taste of what it’s like to be her, in a new docu-comedy series, Mel B: It’s a Scary World.

Premiering September 5, Mel B: It’s a Scary World will follow the media maven as she juggles hosting duties (Dance Your Ass Off), entrepreneur endeavors (Get Fit with Mel B video game), and raising daughters, Phoenix and Angel, with husband of three years, Stephen Belafonte.

Mel B is always striving to do something better and different. She has tackled Dancing with the Stars, performed with Peep Show at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas and is involved with a variety of humanitarian causes. She also wrote a bestselling autobiography, Catch a Fire.

According to Mel B her success is based on providing inspiration and encouraging people to tackle whatever comes their way. “It’s all about feeling confident, listening to yourself, trusting yourself and being in your own power. And that’s what I’m all about,” Mel B said.
