Russell Brand recently assured those on the Katy Perry and Russell Brand wedding watch, that the couple’s nuptials would be mellow and full of love. That doesn’t mean, however, his blushing bride’s dress would be anything but spectacular!
According to UsMagazine.com, Katy Perry exchanged vows with Russell Brand Saturday in India wearing an Elie Saab haute couture dress. A source is telling UsMagazine.com the California Gurls singer’s couture dress was a stunning dove gray color with luxurious lace sleeves.
UsMagazine.com had previously reported that Katy Perry would have a bridal wardrobe from designers Zuhair Murad and Donna Mizani that she would rotate in and out of for the ceremony.
The intimate and “spiritual” ceremony was attended by roughly 80 of their closest family and friends. The ceremony was overseen by a Christian minister. A rep for Katy Perry said Perry and her new husband “are overjoyed to confirm that they were pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Brand.”
