Jessica Capshaw gives birth to a baby girl!

Grey’s Anatomy star Jessica Capshaw welcomed a baby girl named Eve into her life October 20.

Jessica Capshaw is normally the one calling the shots as Dr. Arizona Robbins on Grey’s Anatomy, but according to People, the star has someone else to call the shots in her real life — a new baby daughter.

Welcome Eve Augusta!

This isn’t Jessica Capshaw’s first rodeo as a mommy, but it sounds like Eve Augusta will have her mom wrapped around her little baby finger.

This is the first daughter for Capshaw and husband Christopher Gavigan, who have been married since May of 2004.

Eve Augusta joins big brother, three-year-old Luke, to even out the household. “The family is thrilled to welcome their newest addition,” Jessica Capshaw’s rep said in a statement.

Grey’s baby boom!

We’re not sure what the cast of Grey’s Anatomy is eating or drinking at the craft services table, but a certain baby trend has been popping up recently. Jessica Capshaw’s special delivery follows the birth of Ellen Pompeo’s daughter, Stella Luna, in September 2009, and the birth of Eric Dane’s little girl, Billie Beatrice, in March. All girls? Seriously, it must be in the water.

It’s a good thing Jessica Capshaw’s character on Grey’s Anatomy, Dr. Arizona Robbins, recently received a grant to work in Africa. Sounds like the actress is going to need some time off to bond with her new bundle of joy.

Congratulations to everyone over at Grey’s Anatomy, especially the newest extended cast member, baby Eve Augusta.
