Kanye West still hasn’t learned to keep his mouth shut. Kanye is back at it again, slamming Taylor Swift.
Kanye West made a surprise appearance at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC to promote his new album — and, as usual, let his anger issues bubble over around 1 a.m. as he dissed everyone from Taylor Swift to Matt Lauer. Why won’t he let it go?
Kanye’s pity party
After he infamously ambushed Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, West is now saying that she used the whole accident to increase her fame. “Taylor never came to my defense at any interview,” West said during his rant. “And rode the waves and rode it and rode it.”
Why would she come to his defense? We could forget the whole accident a lot sooner if Kanye West would quit bringing it up.
Kanye still talking about Bush
He also went off on the incident with President George W. Bush — in which Kanye accused the former president of being “racist” with the way he handled Katrina. Bush said that was the “lowest moment in his presidency.”
Kanye said he “rode the waves of the Bush comment” much like Swift rode the waves of his comments. “It’s not about popular opinion. It’s about when you look in your heart, and know what’s right and what’s wrong. When you look in your heart, look at what the media did, look at how they exploited him, they said that he said it was his lowest moment and as a mass, as America, we took that as a fact,” West said.
What do you think? Do you agree with Kanye — or do you think he needs to just stop talking?
