Brett Favre sued for sexual harassment

Brett Favre is being sued for sexual harassment by Christina Scavo and Shannon O’Toole, two former massage therapists for the New York Jets.

Brett Favre may have gotten off with a slap on the wrist for the Jenn Sterger sexting scandal, but he’s now facing new accusations of impropriety: Two former massage therapists for the New York Jets have filed suit against the football star for sexual harassment.

Christina Scavo and Shannon O’Toole say Favre made unwanted advances towards them, including text messages involving threesomes. When Scavo’s husband called Favre to demand an apology, she says, she received a dressing-down from her boss, Lisa Ripi.

Calling the team a “hotbed of sexual harassment, sexism and inappropriate behavior,” Scavo claims from that point on she and O’Toole never worked for the Jets again.

In addition to Favre, Christina Scavo and Shannon O’Toole name the New York Jets franchise and Lisa Ripi as defendants in the suit.

Brett Favre wisely allegedly announced his re-retirement from football to the management of his current team, the Minnesota Vikings. Of course, this would make the eighth time he’s made a retirement proclamation, so we’re not holding our breath.
